On the 14th of May, our wonderful team of runners will be making their way around either the 10km or half marathon track to raise money and awareness for young people facing homelessness in Bristol and the South West.

Last year 1625ip saw an increase of 30% in new referrals to their services, and a staggering 1,600 more young people presenting as homeless in the UK. Heading out of a global pandemic that saw a dramatic increase in loneliness and isolation, alongside a loss of jobs, those facing homelessness are one of the most vulnerable groups amidst the cost of living crisis, already facing financial hardship.

The money we raise will go towards supporting specialist projects and services to empower young people to gain the skills to overcome their trauma, and build the confidence they need to achieve their goals and thrive as independent adults.
