Broxburn Public Access Defibrillator (PAD)

Our community project for 2019 is to provide and install a publicly accessible defibrillator outside our HQ in Pyothall Court. The defib will be added to the NHS Register of accessible defibrillators.

Story

1756 (Broxburn) Squadron have our own Defibrillator currently housed within our Squadron HQ.

We would like to make this Life Saving Defibrillator available to the wider community and are trying to raise funding for an external box and lighting so that it can be available to the general public at all times.

The Defibrillator will be registered with the NHS to allow them to direct members of the public to it's location in the event of an emergency.

Currently the closest fully accessible defibrillators that we are aware of are in Livingston, Winchburgh and South Gyle.
