We’re Anxious Minds, the mental health charity, and we believe no one should have to face a mental health problem alone. We’re here for you. Providing early intervention and long-term support for adults and children, specialising in those that suffer from depression and anxiety.

Story

Nobody should have to face these challenges alone.

Anxious Minds is a mental health charity founded by British Army veteran Eddie Dean. Having experienced mental ill health and homelessness himself, Eddie understands how much timely, compassionate support matters.

Through our Veteran Recovery College and outreach services, we help veterans, reservists and their families access professional mental health support, rebuild confidence and reconnect with their communities. We provide early intervention and longer-term help, including support while people wait for other services and as they continue their recovery.

Your donation will help fund:

Professional counselling for veterans and family members struggling with their mental health.

Recovery and addiction support, helping people develop coping skills and work towards lasting change.

Outdoor therapy and wellbeing activities, creating opportunities to build confidence, get active and connect with others.

Community outreach, including our work across County Durham, bringing support closer to veterans and their families.

Practical advice and guidance, helping people address housing, benefits and other pressures that can affect mental health.

This is more than a place to meet. It is access to professional help, trusted relationships and ongoing support when life becomes difficult.

We need your help to keep this vital work going.

Donations help cover the people, spaces and day-to-day costs needed to deliver our services. These essential costs make it possible to offer a welcoming place where veterans can speak openly, ask for help and take their next steps towards recovery.

Please donate what you can and share this campaign with friends, family or colleagues.

Stand with those who have served. Help us make sure veterans and their families have somewhere to turn.
