Rowing is traditionally an exclusive, expensive sport but there is strong demand for inclusive and affordable rowing. The 1863 Club welcomes all, regardless of their financial means or sporting ability. We only ask our rowers' families to contribute financially if they can afford it, which means we rely on fundraising to continue operating.

The rowers of the Club and some of their braver parents will be running 5K on 16 November 2025 in Chiswick alongside the river. We aim to reach £15,000 to allow us to provide rowing training for this school year. Please give generously!
