Story
Nine kittens came into our care desperately unwell with cat flu. What should have been the start of their little lives has instead meant weeks of coughing, sneezing, conjunctivitis and, for some, real difficulty breathing.
They have needed round-the-clock care, careful monitoring and countless vet visits, alongside weeks of antibiotics, pain relief, eye medication and repeated flushing of their sore, infected eyes.
We have already spent thousands of pounds on medication, treatment and veterinary care to give these kittens the chance they deserve. And sadly, the battle isn’t over yet.
Little Stevie developed a particularly nasty eye ulcer, requiring an intensive course of treatment. Thankfully, we are finally starting to see some improvement, but it has been a long and painful road for such a tiny kitten.
Every day, our team has been nursing these nine through their illness, cleaning sore eyes, giving medication, monitoring their breathing and making sure they are eating and gaining strength. They are fighting hard — and so are we.
But the veterinary bills continue to grow.
❤️ We’re asking for your help to raise funds towards the veterinary care these nine kittens have needed and will continue to need until they are fully recovered.
No kitten should have to spend the first weeks of their life fighting simply to breathe and see clearly. They deserve the chance to grow up healthy, happy and loved.
Once they have made a full recovery, all nine will be looking for loving, indoor-only homes where they can finally begin the lives they should have had from the very start.
If you can donate, no matter how small, it really will make a difference to these little ones. And if you can’t donate, sharing their fundraiser helps enormously too.
Thank you for helping us keep fighting for them. ❤️
