Over the last few years, 1st Littleport Scout Group has more than doubled in size. We've opened a second Beaver Colony, a second Cub Pack, and a second Scout Troop.

In 2021, we were lucky to be chosen to open one of the very first Squirrel Dreys in the country, catering for 4 and 5 year olds. The idea was so popular that we had to open two Dreys from the very beginning.

With such a rapid expansion, our camping gear has fallen behind. We simply don't have enough tents to accommodate all our young people.

Our old canvas tents, while still usable, are heavy and bulky. They are difficult to transport, and impossible for our younger members to put up.

We desperately need to modernise our tents. We need lighter tents that are easy to erect. At the same time, we need to make sure our tents are robust enough to withstand rough weather and even rougher Scouts!
