Story

1st Lenzie Company, The Boys' Brigade needs your help and support today.

1st Lenzie BB Company young people and staff have continued to meet during lockdown virtually, deliver essentials to elderly and vulnerable, play music for the #ClapforKeyWorkers, (see picture below), and support each other through Zoom meetings.

1st Lenzie BB has continued to provide vital support, using the #BBatHome materials, ensuring that the physical, creative, mental and spiritual needs of our young people are still being met.

We have unfortunately lost around £1,000 of fundraising due to Covid-19 from their Display's (£300-400) and Lenzie Community Council Gala being cancelled, (£150 from Pipe Band and £600-700 from their stall). We are trying to raise £1,000 for the next session.

Staff members will be walking 270 miles, a virtual distance of Glasgow to Thurso. We choose Thurso, because that is where our founder, Sir William Alexander Smith came from!

Thank you for supporting our young people, staff and community by donating to this campaign.
