1st Portishead Scout Group has been providing an opportunity for all our Scouts (Boys and Girls) to experience the International Scouting Centre in Kandersteg Switzerland . Opening in 1923, it has been the site for a Worldwide Jamboree ever since. Young people from all over the world meet and share experiences with others from different backgrounds, cultures and nationalities.

So here we now are, completing the final planning and fundraising for this years visit.

We are planning on running activities such as River Rafting, an overnight hike to a mountain hut, trekking up on to a glacier, cable cars and joining other Scout groups from around the world.
