Story

It's back - we are holding our ever popular sponsored events again this year in order to raise funds to benefit each and every child at Sciennes.

This year we are aiming to raise £8,000 to provide much needed equipment and opportunities for our children. We encourage children to run or swim their best, setting themselves a personal target for laps and we need your support to help them smash their targets.

Primary 1 will take part in a Meadows Fun Run (sporty clothing to be worn)

Primary 2-7 will take part in a Swimathon

The Swimathon has been great fun in the past and we would like as many children as possible to take part again this year. Children will have the opportunity to swim as many lengths/breadths of the pool as they can in a specified time. Non-swimmers are encouraged to take part, using swimming aids in the shallow end of the pool, never going out of their depth. The Swimathon is well staffed, with a qualified life guard on duty at all times.
