Help For Children's mission to fight child abuse has never been more important than today. With 1 in 4 children suffering some form of abuse or neglect, and 80% of perpetrators being someone the child knows, HFC is dedicated to making the world a safer place for children by bringing an end to this worldwide silent epidemic. Help For Children has been fighting child abuse since 1998 and works with an academic expert to prevent and treat child abuse by funding effective programs in four impact areas. These include decreasing the risk of abuse, strengthening vulnerable families, and working with survivors to reduce trauma and build individual strengths.
