The London Marathon is the most popular running event in the world, with nearly half a million people taking part each year. It is famous for the hordes of people lining the streets of London to cheer the runners on and welcomes first time runners, fancy dress runners and elite athletes alike. As a fundrasing event, there is no race in the world that comes close to the London Marathon.
