**Our Mission**

At the Market Bosworth Scout Group, we're passionate about providing incredible experiences for our young members. From thrilling adventures to skill-building activities, we believe in empowering our scouts to learn, grow, and create lasting memories.

**The Challenge**

However, we've noticed that attendance tends to drop for more expensive activities. To address this, we're committed to making these opportunities accessible to all. Our solution? Fundraising!

**How We Fundraise**

1. **Cafes and Stalls:** Our dedicated team of volunteer adults and enthusiastic young people are rolling up their sleeves. They're running charming little cafes and joining community events with our own stall with fund games to raise funds.

2. **Grants:** The Dixie Education Foundation have heard our story and have pledged £7,000 towards our mission!

3. **Hiking Adventures:** Our hiking journey has been nothing short of remarkable. So far, we've covered picturesque routes, from Shackerstone to Sharnford.

**Recent Fundraising Details**

**Monday Scouts:**

- Rotary Santa Sled (Dec 2023): £160

- Cafe (March 2024): £68.50

**Monday Cubs:**

- Cafe (February 2024): £66.50

**Beaver Scouts:**

- St. Peter's Primary School Summer Fete (June 2024): £43.30

- Beaver Scout plant sale £48.11

**Monday and Thursday Scouts working together:**

- Leicestershire Round, (Apr to Jul 24) the miles we've trekked have already raised well over £500

**All Sections - Bosfest**

Beavers, Cubs, Scout and their parents/carers raised £219.47 (June 2024) from our stall. Thanks all

- **Sutton Wharf - Shackerstone :** Leicestershire Round hike 7 1/2 for Monday and Thursday Scouts, 5 1/5 miles for Cub Scouts and 3 1/2 miles for Beaver Scouts July 6th 16th - Offline:- Arthur Jackson £40 and Keira and Fearne Roberts £70
