Story
At times, a single unexpected challenge can put a student’s education at risk.
A medical bill. A sudden car repair. A housing emergency. For many students, these moments can create financial barriers that threaten their ability to stay enrolled.
At the UW–River Falls, the Student Emergency Grant Program provides immediate support when students need it most. These grants help cover urgent, unexpected expenses so students can remain focused on their education and continue working toward their goals.
During UWRF Giving Days, gifts to the Student Emergency Grant Program ensure that when hardship strikes, Falcon students are not facing it alone.
“Without this help, I would have had to leave school. You didn’t just fix my car—you kept my dream alive.” — UWRF Student
Because sometimes the difference between stopping out and staying enrolled is simply knowing that someone cares enough to help.
Together, we help ensure every Falcon has the chance to continue their journey at a place Where Champions Become Leaders.
