The team will return in February 2027. The purpose of the trip is to continue to teach, train and mentor the staff at Leyaata hospital. Once again we plan to take a team of surgeons, theatre nurses, a Paediatric and neonatal team and radiology

Hernia International Carpenter

Hernia International Carpenter (HIC) was set up to raise funds to send expert surgical teams to operate and alleviate suffering from hernias in Carpenter, Northern Ghana. Since the opening of the Leyaata Hospital we are focusing on building an Education Centre for ongoing training and teaching.
