Visit the charity's profileOn June, 4th, fire broke in Sharia camp, one of 15 camps housing 16,000 Yazidi displaced persons who escaped genocide in 2014. In total, 370 plus tents were burned, 184 families, 994 individuals living in these tents, lost all their properties and belongings. These families are currently without shelter, food, and other basic necessities. We are asking you to to join our campaign to raise money to support these families and help us address this emergency situation.
This campaign is organized by a group of Yazidi NGOs and activists. All funds collected will be divided up equally among the 184 effected families. A steering committee will oversee the distributions.
