West Wales Poundies and Greenacres have worked very closely together for approx. eight years, with the main common interest being the rescue of stray and abandoned dogs. Thousands of dogs have passed through both charities and have gone on to find forever loving homes.
So on 28th April at 11am Lianne Evans founder of West Wales Poundies and Mikey Lawlor co-founder of Greenacres Rescue will go into a kennel at Greenacres Rescue for 24 hours, they will do this to highlight the plight of stray dogs. They will follow the life of a stray dog for 24 hours, follow their routine so much so to only leaving the kennel to use the toilet or go for a walk as the dog would while in kennels. They will only be fed when donations arrive to do so, and any 'luxuries' will have to be donated by their supporters!
There will be lots of fun to, the live kennel feeds will show the relationship that Mikey and Lianne have, and anyone that knows them know they are both quick witted, humorous and on occasions quite cutting! They do love the banter!
There will also be a Question and Answer session done on live feed and a live auction where the supporters have bid on an item that's being auctioned and will be able to pay via this link.
We have set a target of £4000 which would mean £2000 to each charity, they both have huge followings so we really hope to smash this target and raise much more. Make sure you tune into Lianne and Mikeys Facebook profiles for the live shows!
