24 hours of treadmill to buy a doggy treadmill!

Jess and Chloe, our dog carers, are going to keep our treadmill going for 24 hours. The funds raised will purchase a doggy treadmill (slat mill) and other specialist toys, which will provide amazing enrichment and exercise for all our dogs.

Stokenchurch dog rescue was originally formed by local residents in 1963 to save the lives of stray and unwanted dogs. We never destroy a healthy dog, believing that somewhere there is a kind and permanent home for every dog. We also take in and care for the sick, the old and the traumatised.

Story

An amazing volunteer (dog trainer) has been training our dogs using a slat mill (dog treadmill). This has proven extremely popular, even our reluctant walkers like Brie (pictured) have really enjoyed it. We therefore would love to buy one so we have use of it every day. Our dogs are exercised daily but this would give so much more to their day, it helps with physical issues, mobility, behavioural issues and much more. Jess and Chloe, have taken on a 24 treadmill challenge (hopefully with help of others too) to raise the money to buy a purpose built one and also other specialist enrichment toys. Please help us.

All funds raised no matter the amount always go to the care of our dogs.
