EXTENDED THRU OCTOBER 10TH - Every mile. Every step. Every donation. Every second chance.
Right now, too many boys and young men are facing obstacles that threaten their future. They need support, guidance, and the opportunity to believe in themselves again. That's why GateWay Second Chance Foundation is inviting YOU to take part in Too Fit to Quit IV, our biggest community fitness challenge yet.
August 29 through October 10, 2026
From August 29 through October 3, 2026, we're on a mission to collectively log thousands of miles and hours while raising $40,000 to help young people who deserve a second chance at success.
Whether you run, walk, cycle, swim, skate, hike, hit the gym, ride your Peloton, or simply take a daily stroll, every effort counts. You don't have to be an athlete. You don't have to break records. You just have to move.
Because when you move, you help move a young person's life forward.
Your participation helps us provide the resources, support, and opportunities that academically struggling and underserved youth need to build confidence, develop life skills, and create brighter futures. Every dollar raised helps open doors that might otherwise remain closed.
Saturday, August 29, from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM
This challenge begins with a community kickoff celebration at Lake Accotink Park in Springfield, Virginia, on Saturday, August 29, from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Join us for an afternoon of free food, drinks, walking, jogging, cycling, fellowship, and inspiration as we launch this powerful movement together.
Then, throughout the month, challenge yourself, recruit friends and family, share your progress, and help us reach our goal. The more people who join, the more lives we can impact.
Together, we can prove that no challenge is too big, no mile is wasted, and no young person should be denied a second chance.
