Were inviting you, your family and friends to take part in Captain Tom 100 from Friday 30 April and for the whole of May 2021 to celebrate Captain Sir Tom Moores amazing achievements and raise vital funds for 2makeit.

Friday 30 April would have been Captain Sir Toms 101st birthday and is the one-year anniversary of the extraordinary celebrations that followed the conclusion of his fundraising walk that raised an incredible £38.9 million for the NHS.

The Captain Tom Foundation hope to encourage people to celebrate his life and support causes they care about in the process.

Following the outpouring of heartfelt messages since Captain Sir Toms death on 2 February this year, his family pledged to celebrate his life with an event that everyone around the world could get involved in to celebrate his generosity, hope and sense of fun the Captain Tom 100.

Get involved and support our work in the community and prisons

All you need to do is dream up your Captain Tom 100 an activity of your choice based around the numbers 100 and do it any time and anywhere from Friday 30 April through to the end of May 2021, we've added a few ideas below to help you out:

walking 100,000 steps in the month (it's easier than it sounds, promise)

running 100 metres

scoring 100 goals

baking 100 cakes

climbing 100 stairs

hopping, walking, jogging, jumping, sack racing, 100 laps of the garden

building 100 sandcastles

writing a 100-word poem

flipping 100 pancakes

or donating 100 pennies (or even 100 pounds if you can) - your challenge can be anything at all, inside or outside.
