30 Days of Pride

Campaign by Spectra

Support our work for the year and beyond! We are asking you to donate £1 per day for a month or sign up to our monthly support scheme to support our 30th anniversary ventures and the continuation of our services.

Spectra are proud providers of accessible, community based: sexual health support and testing - peer-led counselling - identity specific wellbeing groups - art and movement therapy. Our London based health advocacy and harm reduction services prioritise the needs of trans adults and Sex Workers.

Story

Spectra began 30 years ago in response to the HIV crisis, led by people whose needs were being overlooked and underserved. Three decades on, our work continues to centre people living with HIV, LGBTQ+ communities, sex workers, and others who face significant barriers to healthcare and wellbeing support. Over the years, our core purpose has remained the same: to offer practical, non-judgemental support rooted in confidentiality and lived experience.

Our 30th year is a moment to reflect on that legacy, and to look ahead. Throughout the year we'll be bringing people together, sharing stories from Spectra's history, and creating opportunities to help sustain our services into the future. We'd love you to be part of it.

To launch our 30th year, we are starting a fundraising campaign over July (the month when Pride parades truly take place in London!) to support our work for the year and beyond. We are asking our followers and supporters to donate £1 per day for a month or sign up to our monthly support scheme. Spectra is funded only through finite-term grants, and in order to secure the longevity of our services, we are reaching out for your support.
