Raising money to support organisations tackling homelessness and ending the need for rough sleeping in Greater Manchester, is a challenge in itself. That’s why we need your help and you get the chance to get strong core muscles?
According to many health sites, the plank is an exercise that strengthens your body from head to toe. Especially, your core muscles, including your abdominals and lower back. Having a strong core is linked to reduced lower back pain, an improved ability to perform daily tasks, and enhanced athletic performance. Now doesn’t that sound like a great thing.
You can also turn it into a group competition. Who could you challenge? Maybe a friend or family member, or a work colleague. You can challenge them on social media with the tag line I challenge you, think bucket challenge but with planks. Why not get your phone out and make some great reels, do it together, you can even get the kids involved.
The most original and funny ones will be shared on our social media channels - remember to tag us and add #TeamGMMC.
Set yourselves a fundraising target and remember that for every £30 you raise, you cover the cost of a nights accommodation in the pioneering scheme, A Bed Every Night.
