Story
When a child has cancer, parents and carers can feel incredibly alone, especially in the quiet moments.
The 3am Thoughts Club is a new support group at The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust, created with parents to provide a safe, welcoming, non-clinical space to talk, connect and feel supported.
Funded by The Princess Alexandra Hospital Charity, the group will offer simple, supportive sessions including wellbeing activities, creative workshops and opportunities to meet others who understand.
Because no parent should feel they are facing this alone.
With your support, we can keep it going and reach more families by funding:
- regular support sessions
- wellbeing and creative activities
- family and sibling events
- welcoming, safe spaces for parents to connect
All donations are received by The Princess Alexandra Hospital Charity and are held within the Dolphin Ward fund — the hospital’s children’s ward.
Funding will support the 3am Thoughts Club and help enhance the care and experience of children with cancer and their families supported by Dolphin Ward.
Help us make sure this support continues for every parent who needs it.
Thank you for being part of something truly meaningful.
