Since 2017 Lowestoft Foodbank has been a vital service for our local community. We have supported unprecedented numbers of people in that time. In 2024 we fed 18,000 people.

We have continued to invest heavily in finding ways to find longer term solutions for people. Our investment in our own Citizens Advice Worker has seen significant results, putting £145,000 back into peoples pockets and helping manage nearly £1Million of debt.

Many of these people have not needed to return to use our services as they have become financially resilient. This is our ultimate goal to see the end for the need for foodbanks.

We are taking on this challenge to raise funds as we are determined to do more support and continue to grow financial resilience within or communities in the 200 square miles we cover from Lowestoft to Wickham Market.
