HabAId has been supporting the Alumim orphanage in the UKRAINE for over eight years.

At the start of the invasion, the 50+ children thought they were safe, but after 2 nights of bombing, the directors decided to move the children urgently to a safer location in the Carpathian mountains.

No one knows what they will return to or if the orphanage will sustain damage that will need funds to repair. In the short term they urgently need infrastructure support such as generators, beds, bedding etc., they also urgently need warm clothing, food, and drink.

Alumim has offered to assist other orphanages in Ukraine that are in more desperate needs and these extra children we are looking after will put a massive strain on our funds. It is with this in mind that we ask for your help. Every penny that is donated will go directly to the children. We are speaking directly to them every couple of days asking what their immediate needs are.

One of our committee visits the orphanage each year, so we see directly how funds are being used. Please give whatever you can to help these children in desperate need of just the basic needs of life.
