We provide a therapy led day service for adults who are living with ABI/TBI brain injury. Objectives are to relieve & rehabilitate individuals who have sustained a ABI/TBI likely to cause significant disability. We provide and promote facilities for their support, enablement, education and welfare.

Story

For over 40 years Second Chance Headway in Wakefield has offered information, support and therapy to people affected by brain injury – including survivors, family members, friends, professionals and unpaid carers.

Denise has been receiving support from the charity following a stroke, she wants to give something back to them by completing a 50 mile swim to raise funds.
