Our 555 Team Challenge is now launched to raise £15,000 over the Spring Bank Holiday weekend. Our poster boy is Mr Vitality, who had an illustrious racing career, which included winning the Hong Kong Triple Crown.
So how come such a champion, bred in Australia to race in Hong Kong, is living out his retirement in a small sanctuary in West Sussex, we hear you ask? Hong Kong does not have the space: thousands of his fans came to the airport to see him off to retire in the peace and tranquility of the English countryside; bequeathed to The Racehorse Sanctuary with a generous dowry.
Our team target is to raise £15,000, one months running costs for the charity. Our challenge will take place the weekend of the Spring Bank Holiday, Monday 31 May 2021. This will require up to 3,000 participants to cover at least 5km each, an ambitious but worthwhile target. Is this achievable? Yes, if you join our team: there are 555 reasons it is vital you compete.
Make a suggested donation of £5.
Cover at least 5 kilometres riding, running, walking, cycling, swimming:
