Story
Thrive@ Trans BootCamp
Trans BootCamp has supported over 100 trans women at varying stages of their trans journeys. The project provides an exceptional toolkit of health, wellbeing, and practical support to allow trans women to be their authentic selves, and to challenge and overcome discrimination. Guest facilitators have included Lady Lloyd, Queen Victoria Ortega, and clinicians from 56 Dean Street/56T/TransPlus.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Rebecca successfully transformed the project from BootCamp to ZOOMCamp. Workshops, mentoring and emergency support further established the project as the safest space to reduce social isolation, boost mental wellbeing and access emergency support for trans women.
