The Turning Point Trust runs holistic education programmes for vulnerable children in the Kibera slum in Nairobi, Kenya. We work to see children achieve their full God-given potential.
All our normal programmes have been closed from March 2020 in line with government directives to curb the spread of coronavirus.
147 children who normally get 2 free school meals each day at our centres have been seriously struggling during school closures. So we've been providing food vouchers to their families each week.
While our projects have now reopened for a few, there are still over 100 children out of school. We want to continue this vital support to those families until schools reopen fully in January 2021, help us make that happen!
Make a donation of £5 or more to enter, then run 5km with us on December 1st from wherever you are.
Send us a tracking report from your run and we'll send you a beautiful certificate!
