The Woodlands Academy is a special needs school for pupils aged 2-16 with a wide range of needs. We adopt a 'holistic approach' focusing on the development of the 'whole child' using a personalised, pupil centered curriculum.

Story

On 15th June 2019 Mark Oliver, teacher at The Woodlands Academy, and Peter Midgley, Director at Roche Audio Visual, will be running 69 miles in 24 hours to raise money for The Woodlands Academy. Their journey will start at Carlisle Castle and finish at Gateshead Millenium Bridge.
