Celebrating 80 Years of Community Action

A drive to raise £80,000 to establish a new community grant fund. Our goal is simple but impactful. If successful, we will provide 80 local projects with a grant of £1,000 each.

Cornwall Rural Community Charity (CRCC) is an organisation dedicated to supporting and strengthening Cornwall’s Communities to improve quality of life. Our work falls in to three main categories: Rural & Coastal, Education & Training and Carers & Wellbeing.

Story

Celebrating 80 Years of Community Action

In 2026, CRCC reaches a significant milestone: 80 years of supporting people and strengthening communities. Since our beginning we have have worked alongside local people to tackle challenges and build resilience. While our roots remain firmly in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly, our reach and impact now extends further, with dedicated projects in Swindon, Wales, and beyond.

To mark this anniversary, we’re launching our most ambitious initiative yet: raising £80,000 to establish a brand‑new Community Grant Fund.

Our goal is simple but impactful. Our vision:

💛 £80,000 raised by the end of our anniversary year

💛 80 distinct projects funded across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly

💛 £1,000 given to each project, plus hands‑on support from our expert CRCC staff to help bring their ideas to life

💛 Countless lives changed through practical, local action

This isn’t just about giving out grants. It’s about giving people the power, confidence and resources to shape their own community’s future.
