In Place of War presents: Around the World In 80 Raves | Worldwide sponsored fundraising challenge meets global rave...

We're engaging members of the public and our worldwide music industry partners in a collaborative fundraising challenge - soundtracked by streamed raves from DJs all over the world, celebrating the efforts of all our sponsored fundraisers. Money raised collectively will help fund music studio developments in Sao Paulo Brazil, and Lavender Hill, South Africa .

Your efforts & donations will support these communities, engaging young people away from gangs, offering them a safe space to build positive futures and bring hope and opportunity to those who live with the constant threat of crime, unemployment and conflict. Through collaboration and partnership, we hope to create more than a fundraising challenge or campaign. This will be a movement of music industry and music lovers becoming activists, harnessing the uniquely universal power of music to bring us all together and make a positive change with massive impact, and were encouraging industry teams, friends and family to get involved.

GET INVOLVED! TAKE PART IN THE SPONSORED ACTIVITY CHALLENGE

Our aim is to cover the 7,200 mile / 11,600km distance across some of the 26 countries where In Place of War has projects. Participants choose their own goal to be completed at their own pace across the month, to contribute to the overall distance. You can dance, walk, run, cycle or swim your distance goal and seek sponsorship for your efforts with the chance for individuals and teams to win amazing prizes donated by some of In Place of War's partners, DJS and entertainment industry networks.

1. Set up your Just Giving page - select Start Fundraising to set up you /your teams * profile.

2. Add details about yourself/your team and how you plan to make up your miles.

3. Click the Fitness Activity'' button on your JustGiving page to track and share your progress. If you have a Strava account, you'll be given the option to sign in to your profile and link it to your fundraising page, or you can choose to update your distance manually.

4. Share the link with your friends, family and everyone you know, and start fundraising!

5. Email us to let us know once you've raised £25 each in sponsorship & we'll send out your Around The World in 80 Raves t-shirts.

*Signing up as a team? Once you have set up your fundraising profile for Around the World in 80 Raves you can Create a Team. Select the link placed just above the Your Story section and follow the step-by-step instructions. Creating a team will allow individuals to collate their own miles and will count your fundraising efforts as a collective.
