Story

Sidmouth FolkWeek Ltd, a registered charity, is focused on the long-term success of The Sidmouth Folk Festival. Since 2005, it has supported the festival with grants to improve the campsite, to sponsor events and, in 2020, to help ensure that the festival survives the Covid19 pandemic. It hosted the 2020 fundraising campaigns, thereby collecting Gift Aid from many donations. It also administers the festival's street collections, again with Gift Aid benefits. Sidmouth FolkWeek Ltd has a Friends scheme, more details here. This is due to be relaunched in 2022.

This JustGiving site welcomes donations to ensure the continuing success of The Sidmouth Folk Festival. Even if you're not able to attend the 2021 Celebration of The Sidmouth Folk Festival, you can help guarantee its future with a donation.

If you are going to be in Sidmouth during the first week in August, please give generously to the collectors in the Blackmore Gardens, The Ham and elsewhere. We have collecting buckets for cash, card readers and a QR code or you can make a donation through this page. For the daytime Blackmore Gardens events, the suggested donations are: afternoon: £5 adult per day; morning: £2 child and adult per day.

The amount raised on this page does not include offline donations.
