As an industry leader, we believe it is our responsibility to make the world a healthier place, especially for children. Working with Vitamin Angels UK, Alliance Healthcare is helping local communities access the nutrition they need to live healthy lives, whilst supporting Vitamin Angels and their incredible efforts in communities around the world.
Vitamin Angles UK partners with the National Day Nurseries Association (NDNA) to provide healthy supplemental foods, free of charge to select nurseries serving children in low-income families who are at nutritional risk.
Nurseries receive weekly deliveries of self-selected fruits, vegetables, and protein-rich foods. The package is designed to contribute to a quality diet by complementing existing nutrition services and reducing the prevalence of both inadequate nutrient intakes and of excessive nutrient intakes.
In addition to Vitamin Angels UK's direct feeding programme, the organisation works in partnership with Vitamin Angels to deliver nutrition interventions to underserved children and pregnant women in 70 countries worldwide. Learn more at vitaminangels.org.uk
