There is no one to misguide whom Allah (SWT) guides and there is no one to guide whom Allah (SWT) leaves astray.

On many occasions our sisters and children cannot attend the Masjid due to the lack of space, our services have to be restricted as the floor space is fully booked and our youth do not have a dedicated centre. To move forward as a Muslim community our Masjid needs to expand URGENTLY.

Our Background:

In Scotland, a non-Muslim country, it is important to co-operate in donating to build a Mosque, because the local Muslims need to perform worship and engage in Islamic education, for themselves and their children, this in turn encourages themselves to adhere to the rituals of Islam. And that often plays a role in bringing non-believers to the faith too.

We've been fulfilling the Sadaqah Jariyah of our community for over 10 years. In that time, we have purchased a public house where alcohol and dancing was going on and converted it to a Masjid and Islamic Education facility for the local community, built up a solid community hub where the community of East Ayrshire come to perform salah, educate themselves, attend Taraweeh and Iftar in the month of Ramadan. During our time here we have established a Hifz Program for Adults and Children, conducted Nikah, converted over 15 Non-Muslims to Islam and established a Food Bank for the needy.

Our Trustees and Imam are local, and they understand local needs, making sure that your charity is as impactful as it can possibly be.

We provide the community with a forum for Islamic education.

We provide a means for the community to interact with each other socially and provide a path for them to fulfil their obligations as Muslims.

The fundamental objective of the Society will be to seek Glory to Allah (SWT).

Our cause is to appeal for your help to Renovate and Extend our Mosque which is in a degenerate condition and not practical for our Muslim Communities activities. There is very limited space for the Sisters, not enough classrooms and not enough ablution areas for the sisters. We also are in need of a Room for Ghusal for our Muslim Burial Service. Plus a Store for the Food Bank.

Phase 1

The Extension will be carried out in two phases, Phase 1, will be to construct a First Floor Hall for which planning permission has been obtained and phase 2 will be to extend the ground floor area to accommodate 300 persons compared to 100 at present.

We feel there is no choice but to proceed with a new First Floor Extension first. This new First Floor Extension Sisters Hall should commence as soon as possible.

We plan to construct a First Floor Sisters Hall this will include three WCs, a Wadu area, Classrooms and Kitchen space. This will be approximately 100 m/sq. Which can hold 80-100 persons.

This will be Phase 1 of our Mosque Extension. The Ground floor will be the same except installation of a Lift for the disabled to reach the First floor.

Phase 2

This Phase will be to extend the Ground Floor and and project the overall appearance of a Masjid.

This extension will be over 400 m/sq and hold up to 300 persons. At present our capacity is only 100 persons, including men, women and children.
