Warm summer days are here at last, and we all love a treat on a sunny afternoon. Host your own Afternoon Tea, virtually or in your garden and help support local people this summer.
There are two ways to get involved:
Ask your friends, family and colleagues to pour themselves a cup of tea, grab a cake (or two!), join you online and donate what they would normally spend on a trip to their local café to The Sara Lee Trust instead.
Ask five of your friends, family or colleagues to join you in your garden for Afternoon Tea For Sara Lee. You provide the tea and cake while they bring their own cup, plate and cutlery and make a donation to The Sara Lee Trust.
The Government announced from the 15th June you are able to meet outdoors with groups of up to six people from different households, provided social distancing is observed and you stay 2 metres away from anyone outside your household or support bubble. Please see the Governments Guidance about meeting people you do not live with.
Visit The Sara Lee Trust website for more details and helpful fundraising tools.
Every penny raised from your Afternoon Tea For Sara Lee will help us provide a telephone & video counselling service, which will allow local people affected by cancer or another life threatening illness to feel less alone during the coronavirus outbreak.
Any donation, no matter how large or small, will make a huge difference to someone who needs our help.
Charities pay a small fee for our service. Learn more about fees
