As a charity with over 70 years experience dedicated to supporting our older people in Norfolk, we have seen a number of challenges and changes as the years have passed. Not least is the current COVID-19 pandemic which has particularly affected older people with hundreds, if not thousands of older people across Norfolk shielding themselves for months and as a result, often experiencing new levels of isolation and loneliness.

As we enter another lockdown phase and shielding over winter, we expect the demand for our services to once again increase as older people in Norfolk look to us for the advice, help and support they are desperately seeking at a worrying time.

Our charity shops are due to close in line with government guidelines and although we will do our best to trade online, this will impact our ability to raise our own funds.

This is why your support of our COVID-19 Appeal is so important at this time. We've been here since our inception in 1947, we have no intention of going anywhere anytime soon. Now more than ever, it is so important for us to maintain our services for those who desperately need them. Information and Advice Help Line : Monday to Friday, 10am-4pm

Telephone Befriending Service

Benefit Take Up Service, offering free benefit checks and practical assistance with applications

Money Matters Service, assisting older with management of household finances & budgeting

Advocacy Service, providing independent advocates to help older people speak up for themselves; supporting them to assert their rights when decisions need to be made that affect their lives

Bereavement Advocacy service offering practical help and support to a recently bereaved person in later life who has no family or friends who are able to assist them.
