Why we need your help?

"Whoever builds amosquefor Allah, Allah will build for him a house like it inParadise. Source: Sahih al-Bukhari 439, Sahih Muslim 533.

Almarkaz ul Islami has had a significant shortfall in income, especially during this past year when the Masjid was forced to close due to the Covid-19 Pandemic. We rely on our Friday congregants, donors and facility users to support the masjid and keep it going. Your regular donations will help regulate our services. We need at least £2000 each month to cover our expenses.

We request you to donate £1 every Friday.

The importance, blessings and actions of Jumuah (Friday) "O you who believe! When the call is proclaimed for Jumuah (Friday Prayer), hasten to the remembrance of Allah, and leave trade. That is better for you, if you only knew" {Quran 62:9}

The Prophet said:

"The best of your days is Friday. On that day Adam was created; on that day he died; on that day the Trumpet will be blown and on that day all of creation will swoon. So send a great deal of blessings upon me, for your blessings will be shown to me" {Abu Dawud}

The Prophet said:

"Any man who performs Ghusl on Friday, perfumes himself if he has perfume, wears the best of his clothes, then goes to the mosque and offers as many prayers as he wishes while not harming anybody, then listens quietly while the Imam speaks until he offers the prayer, will have all his sins between that Friday and the next forgiven"
