Amanda's PACSO 24 hour marathon on Sunday 16th May

Campaign by PACSO

I wheeled for 53 miles over 24 hours for PACSO because every penny is so valuable and helps children and young people with disabilities locally. PACSO supports children with additional needs and provides respite for carers.

PACSO provides play and social activities for children and young people aged 0-25 with any disability or additional need. This enables them to access the same opportunities as their peers while providing much needed respite for their parents and carers. Siblings may join some of the activities too.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Every parent needs a break, at some point from their children to help recharge their batteries. Sometimes if a child has special physical and mental needs this can be alot harder to achieve.

PACSO helps parents giving them some respite but gives the children opportunity to participate in activities with children who have similar needs to themselves. These children have a chance to gain some independence and grow in confidence with surrounding peers with the support of PACSO carers and volunteers. Parents also get chance to spend quality time with each other and other members of the family.

PACSO is such a worthwhile charity as it gives so much to so many and every penny donated is a penny well spent.
