This October, we are inviting everyone to walk, run, scoot, cycle or otherwise traverse the 2,730 miles from London to Tehran in support of Morad Tahbaz and Mehran Raoof.

Last year, Amnesty members and friends from across the UK clocked up 4,124 miles while calling on the UK Government to secure the release of Nazanin, Anoosheh and Mehran. With the devastating news that Morad Tahbaz and Mehran Raoof were not included in the deal in March, we are mobilising again because there should be No One Left Behind.

The 1st of October will be Morads 67th birthday and the 5th birthday he has spent in Irans Evin prison. The 16th of October will be Mehran Raoofs arrest date and the second year hes spent in prison arbitrarily.

Throughout the month of October, we are asking you to join us in taking part in the London to Tehran Challenge. While you can take part at any time during the month, we recommend using the key dates mentioned above of October 1st and 16th to encourage everyone involved to organise wider community walks that engage your local citizens to join you.

Regardless of when you choose to take part, you can join the wider challenge team by logging your walks and sharing your images of solidarity. You can take part as an individual or you can organise a group in your local area to take part as a team. Every single one of us will be part of one big team taking on this challenge together. We are stronger when were united and this challenge is no different!
