On Monday the 12th of April 2021 at 34weeks I went into hospital and ended up having an emergency c section and at 2:41 gave birth to our beautiful daughter Arla-Bleu Lily Washer,  who sadly came into this world born sleeping. I was unfortunately put into a coma straight after her birth and once I awoke I got told my baby girl had grew her wings.

The heartbreak and pain we felt was indescribable, but straight after I was put into Bluebells suite at Medway and thanks to Abi cooling cots I got to see my baby girl and spend 3 whole days with her and then went onto use Abigail's Place .

Using Abigail's Place and an Abi cooling cot helped me and my partner Sean massively and if it wasn't for the Abi cooling cots I would have never got the chance to even see what my baby girl looked like and we wouldn't of been able to hold her in our arms and embrace every moment with her and let me, Sean and our families say their hellos and goodbyes.

Because of this we would love to hopefully raise enough money to donate a cold cot in memory of our beautiful daughter Arla-Bleu to a hospital that may need one that could also help and give bereaved families the chance we did and to raise enough funds and awareness to help a charity that helped us in our darkest time that no parents should ever have to face.

Abigail's Footsteps worked closely with The Bond Group to produce the Abi Cooling Cot, a specially designed and affordable cooling cot that contains a refrigerated system that allows parents to spend more time with their baby than would otherwise be possible.
