Story
Love Rowing and Zoomergos are delighted to support a youth rowing programme called B-Row in Birmingham.
Birmingham suffers from high levels of deprivation. It is the 9th most deprived local authority in the country with 40% of population living in areas which in the lowest decile for poverty. 51% of children (under 16s) live in the 10% most deprived areas
The vision of B Row is to make Birmingham a city where everyone can have access to rowing. The initiative delivers rowing sessions for children from low income household families in the most deprived areas. B Row has a focus on increasing the children's confidence and self esteem, with a goal to help the children become active, determined and successful young people.
This month your donations will go towards the B Row state school programme which is delivered alongside open access sessions for young people. The funds will go towards coaching a mix of indoor sessions and on water sessions. So far B Row has worked with up to 12 schools and between 350 and 400 children per year. Your donation will help another 50 children to join the programme.
