St Mary's (grade 1 listed) Church building dates from the late 14th C; it is a place of local, artistic, and historic interest. It is a place for worship, and for 'life events;' it is a space for peace, prayer, learning, exploration, and refuge. Open daily it is well used and well loved locally.

Story

St Mary's Ware is an historic grade 1 listed building. A place of worship for centuries it is also of local, artistic and historic interest. Maintained wholly by volunteers and voluntary giving the building is open daily, and for all. We seek to keep it in the best repair possible - and sometimes to do that need the support of the wider community and those who have a care for our historic buildings. The current project to renovate and redecorate the Nave is one such time. To read more about St Mary's Ware visit www.stmarysware.co.uk where you can see a 'virtual visit.'
