To celebrate Montessori Global Ambassador Barbara Isaacs' 70th birthday this year we are launching a bursary in her name. Barbara is well known throughout the Montessori community as a passionate, inspiring leader, and champion of all children. She has travelled the world, visiting schools to challenge and inspire them to offer the best provision they can for their children.

The Fund will be open to all prospective students wishing to study at Montessori Centre International, the UKs leading training college for Montessori teachers and where Barbara has worked since 1991.

Everyone who knows Barbara knows she is a wonderful asset not just to the organisation, but to the Montessori movement as a whole. Her passion and expert knowledge of the Montessori approach is well-known throughout the industry, and her dedication to the cause is paramount. Her kindness and gentle wisdom have earned her the respect of all who have had the pleasure of meeting and working with her. It is only fitting that we honour her milestone birthday with the launch of this new programme, which will provide vital support to students wishing to pursue their own dreams of launching a Montessori career.
