Story
Like all other charities, Buxton Team Parish has had a challenging year, to put it mildly. We had to close our doors in March and were not able to re-open for services until September though we were able to continue worshipping together via Zoom. During this time we were not inactive - the parish continued to function; shopping and delivering food and medicines, providing a "chat & support" service, ringing people up regularly to check they were ok, performing funerals, sending out regular newsletters and bulletins, setting up a phone-up worship service for those with no internet access (or know-how), arranging for delivery of home-cooked meals to the most vulnerable and much more.
We now have 4 of our 6 churches open for services of worship and 2 open for private prayer.
Knowing that some people are still unable to get to our church services, but would like to donate to the parish, you can donate here safely and securely here. All donations will be used for the maintenance and upkeep of our church buildings and our outreach work in the community
