Story

We are inviting our entire Glenalmond Community to unite behind a 175k challenge in support of Glenalmond's new Transform175 campaign (part of the College's 175th Anniversary appeal), to provide life-changing bursaries to talented young people who would not otherwise be able to benefit from a Glenalmond Sixth Form education.

Former pupil, Ryan Bromilow, powerfully describes how a Transformational Bursary at Glenalmond College impacted his life. Read his story

The challenge, sponsored by Johnston Carmichael Wealth, one of the UK's leading financial advisers, sees Coll Houses (including former and current pupils and house staff) go head-to-head in #Challenge175, an inter-house competition to see who will become victorious in contributing the most km's up until 2nd May. Don't worry if you are not associated with a boarding house, there's a Supporters team for staff, family, friends, suppliers, and acquaintances who can take on the rest of the competition!

The challenge will culminate in the #COLL24 event which will start at noon on Saturday 1st May and will see each participant complete a final 10k in their chosen discipline during the 24-hour event period.

Each participant's goal is to raise £175 or more in sponsorship and to complete 175 kilometers or more in a discipline of their choice (running, walking, cycling, swimming, etc), in contribution to the £175,000 and 175,000 km targets we have set.

Here's how to take part:
