Story
The CKDCF is a small charity based in Cumbria. We make charitable donations to organisations directly benefitting the health and wellness of Cumbrian children in need.
We would like to thank the CKDCF for the funding we receive, which enables us to support children and young people affected by abuse in West Cumbria. (Julieanne Kelly, Safety Net UK)
Over the last 12 months, our fundraisers have enabled us to purchase equipment for the local children's cancer wards, sensory toys for children with autism and suicide-prevention courses, as well as funding children's bereavement services, support for homeless young people and food parcels during recent school closures.
We had nothing left to provide for the young people that live here. So when we got the cheque from the CKDCF, we were so grateful... We were able to provide for everybody. (Kim Andrews, Whitehaven Community Trust)
Due to the current international restrictions and social-distancing guidelines, this year's CKDCF Fundraising Weekend will take place online. Over the weekend, we are encouraging supporters to take part in a Virtual Sponsored Walk, taking on challenges in their local area.
With the generosity of the CKDCF, we are able to employ a music teacher to teach the piano and keyboard to young people who are blind... This has given them a new chapter in their lives. (Marie Scott, West Cumbria Society for the Blind)

All proceeds go directly to the CKDCF, enabling to continue our work in supporting children across Cumbria. More information and sponsor forms can be found on our website.
