Aspens Charities (Aspens) Emergency Coronavirus Appeal and Care for the Carers Campaign
#CarefortheCarers
Here at Aspens, we help some 700 children, young people and adults with a range of disabilities and complex needs, as well as those on the autism spectrum. Through the provision of highly personalised support, we aspire to enable children to develop the skills they need to live independently as adults and adults to realise their potential and fulfil their ambitions.
Coronavirus (COVID-19) has already had a negative affect on our service users, as a consequence our staff are currently dealing with high levels of anxiety within the Aspens community, some of the most vulnerable people in society. This will only grow as the need for social distancing and self isolation measures are increased. As we move through these devastating and unchartered times we are asking for financial support to maintain the level of care our service users deserve, whilst being able to invest in additional resources to counter the adverse effect of the above.
You can support us in other ways, join in the conversation at #CarefortheCarers or get involved by offering to volunteer for us. We have a variety of opportunities where you can help make a difference to one of our services during this challenging time for all of us
Thank you from all at Aspens.
