Can you help support North Devon families faced with the unimaginable challenge of having a child diagnosed with life-threatening illness?

Care for Kids North Devon helps between 15 and 20 local families every year. We give instant grants of £800 on diagnosis of a child's life-threatening illness. This helps families who are struggling to meet the costs of visiting specialist hospital appointments in Bristol, Exeter or London. We offer extra help to families who are still struggling after six weeks.

We also make improvements at the children's ward at North Devon District Hospital. With your help fundraising, we have provided a new parents room, play room refurbishment and 3D pain distraction unit. In 2018 we funded a £16,000 transformation of the cubicle 5 isolation treatment room and last year we transformed cubicle 4 too. We are always working on the next project to make the ward a more comfortable place for the young patients who use it.
