At home, Toms family cant afford a reliable internet connection and his mum is looking for a second job to get through the cost-of-living crisis.
Thankfully, Tom has been able to visit Corams Fields Youth Centre, where he can use a computer and WI-FI to get his homework done without distractions from his three siblings. He is always keen to come to Corams Fields because its safe, fun space where he can learn new things and make new friends.
Emily has recently decided to leave college to find a job. College is just not for her as she urgently needs to make money to support herself and her family and cant wait until the end of the studies. Being out of education, employment, or training, she turned to Corams Fields for support.
Since joining Corams Fields Employability Scheme, Emily has never missed a session. After months of hard work, she secured a part-time job, which dramatically increased her confidence. Now, Emily has ambitious plans to open her own business. With a computer provided by Corams Fields, she can learn everything about starting a business by attending an online course from home. She feels that, with the ongoing support from the charity, nothing is impossible.
Corams Fields is a children's charity and playground.
We exist to provide valuable services and best facilities for young people from the local community and beyond.
