The ABP Southampton Marathon provides a fab, mostly flat route including coast, city and park views. It offers 10k, half marathon and full marathon so there's really something for every runner! Join Team Communicare in Southampton in raising vital funds for those most in need across our city.

Our 2021 team said the most challenging part of the Southampton route is running over the Itchen Bridge (twice!), where you can see wonderful views, right across the river and out to sea - a great distraction for any tired legs! Look out for our Communicheerers here for some much deserved encouragement.

With tens of thousands of runners, this is an exciting event to be a part of and all the while knowing you are raising funds to help hundreds of vulnerable people overcome isolation and hardship.

Communicare in Southampton is a good neighbours charity helping people across the city of Southampton. Our amazing volunteers help around 450 people, covering some 2,500 tasks including telephone befriending, transport to medical appointments, shopping for those who are housebound and collecting prescriptions. We are delighted to have reopened our regular lunch club and tea parties and are now offering befriending and DIY, where it's safe to do so.

Our volunteers make a real difference in helping to ease loneliness and isolation in Southampton.
